Ellinikon: Greek cuisine the way we like it!<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Ellinikon is my little Maastricht girl<\/strong>! I love Greek food, but I find it quite complicated to find restaurants that offer real vegetarian choices. The restaurant’s menu is quite small, which for me is a guarantee of quality. The setting is really nice, with a terrace on the banks of the Meuse. It’s the perfect place to soak up the sunshine. I really felt like I was on vacation. <\/p>\n

We welcome you with a small glass of ouzo and olives. The menu is made up of cold and hot mezz\u00e9s, as well as main courses.<\/b> To start, we tried the dip fava<\/b>, a fava bean pur\u00e9e with capers and onions, and the feta filo,<\/b> feta cheese in filo pastry fried with honey and sesame seeds. Tasting these two dishes, I knew the rest of the meal was going to be incredible.<\/b> I’m not a big fan of feta, but this was simply the best feta I’ve ever had!<\/b><\/p>\n

Then I tried one of my favorite dishes<\/b> that I often prepare in summer: vegetarian moussaka! <\/b>And here again I was not disappointed. The dish was delicious!<\/b> I rediscovered the real taste of moussaka, with markers like eggplant, tomato, potato and feta.<\/p>\n

Another positive point: <\/strong> the wine list. Many Greek wines are available at reasonable prices. We accompanied our meal with a very good bottle of white wine made from a grape variety grown exclusively in Greece, Moschofilero. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Well, I think you’ve got it, I loved this place, which offers real Greek vegetarian dishes.<\/strong> However, there are very few vegan options. <\/p>\n

The waiters are very helpful and friendly!<\/strong> This restaurant has it all and will be on my list for my next visit to Maastricht! <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
