Le Vila Mar: a pizzeria like no other!
A weekend in Porto without seeing the sea is simply impossible! On a February day with a temperature of 16 degrees, that’s all it took for me to take a short walk along the water’s edge and stop off to try out a new restaurant.
The problem with seaside restaurants is that either the quality isn’t there, or the prices are excessively high (and often it’s both).
I’m always up for a good pizza. But, as you know, there’s pizza and… pizza. What’s important for me is to have a pizza with fresh, quality ingredients. Not to mention the dough, which has to be homemade and fine.
We tried the vegetarian pizza and the bufala with caramelized onions. And, for a sweet touch, a tiramisu for dessert.

The pizzas are cooked over a wood-fired oven, the dough is extra-fine, the ingredients are fresh, the staff are friendly and, what's more, the terrace by the sea is more than nice.
No disappointments: excellent pizzas, more than fair prices! Not to mention pleasant service and the sun was even out.

To sum up: A favorite pizzeria, a top-notch terrace, a beautiful restaurant to spend a pleasant moment by the sea.
