La cuisine du Futur: gourmet family dining
Eating at Cuisine du Futur is like eating in the living room of your closest couple of friends! The welcome is friendly. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you pass in front of the open kitchen: you feel as if you’ve stepped straight into the living room of your home. The atmosphere is warm (especially with the little fireplace in the corner of the room).
The menu features a unique 4-course vegetarian or omnivore version. The menu changes every month. The dishes are tasty and hearty (after all, we’re in Belgium 😉 how could it be otherwise). I really loved this warm and welcoming cuisine. It’s a bit like being at home with friends, but at the same time in a restaurant.
Sample vegetarian menu
Sweet potato flower and salt crystals on cumin hummus
or
Herb tacos stuffed with tomato tartar and cucumber flavoured with coriander
—
Roasted carrots and burrata with balsamic syrup
—
Leek and herb espuma on a savoury waffle
—
Apples with hazelnut chocolate fondant heart
or
Avisance of goat’s cheese with acacia honey

Chef Benoît Crespin ‘s concept is not only to properly nourish the body while respecting the health of his guests by offering them the best, but also to do so in a reasoned way with the aim of preserving our planet.
It’s a vision to which I subscribe, and which he shares with us with each of his dishes.

Best Veggie Tables' opinion
To sum up: The food was really good and copious.
We had a great time, very convivial. I didn’t feel like I was in a restaurant: it was great!
