Mama Bubbele – Strasbourg

Originally from Alsace, I know a thing or two about tarte flambée, and if there’s one address in Strasbourg I can recommend, it’s Mama Bubbele! The setting is really nice: a touch rustic, a touch modern, but above all a warm place. The products on offer are all made in Alsace, from the aperitifs to the wine and the products used for the tarts flambées.

What I particularly like about Mama Bubbele is that the products are sourced from small producers and used to make the tarts flambées of the moment, with recipes that are different from what you’ll find elsewhere. All tartes flambées are available gluten-free or vegan! Yes, you read that right, vegan tartes flambées are possible in Alsace!
